HPPSC HPAS Syllabus 2020- Himachal Administrative Services CCE Exam Pattern

The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission is ready to organize the “Administrative Combined Competitive Exam 2019”. The Commission has postponed the exam date for HP Administrative Services (HPAS) Prelims Exam 2019 which was scheduled on 26th April 2020. The selection process will be made based on Marks obtained by the candidates in the Preliminary Exam and Main Examination. After that eligible aspirants will be called for Personal Interview. Selection process for HPAS 2020

The Himachal Pradesh Administrative Combined Competitive Examination will complete in various stages such as Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, and Personal Interview/ Group Discussion.

Preliminary Examination- First all candidates have to undergo the Prelims exam, Then after selected aspirants will be called for Main Examination. The Merit list will be made based on marks obtained in the Mains test. The Exam will be of 400 Marks. There is negative marking and 1/3 marks will be deducted. Those aspirants who have been released to have qualified the preliminary Exam by the Commission in a year will be eligible for admission to the Main Exam of that year given they are otherwise eligible for admission to the Main Examination. Marks obtained by the candidates in the (Preliminary) examination will not be counted for the purpose of the final order of merit.

Main Examination– The candidates declared qualified in the Preliminary examination will be entitled for admission to the Main written examination. The number of candidates to be called for Main written examination will be about 20 times of the total number of vacancies to be filled in on the basis of aforementioned examination.

Viva Voce- The Number of aspirants to be called for via-voce test after the Main exam by the Commission shall be at its discretion on the basis of Marks obtained by them in the Main written Test only. Final selection will be determined on the basis of written performance in the main examination and viva-voce

HPPSC HPAS Exam Pattern 2020

Candidates first check the HPPSC HPAS Exam Pattern for prelims and Mains Examination. The Pre Exam will be for 400 Marks. Paper-I will be of 200 Marks and Paper-II also same. The Question in Pre exam will be asked from General Studies and Aptitude Test. The Exam paper will carry 200 objective type questions. Aspirants have solve the complete paper in 4 hours. There is negative marking and 1/3 marks shall be deducted for wrong answer.
